This is a pattern I wrote up for The Sanguine Gryphon in 2007 for use with her Tapestry yarn. Now, the first prototype was made using her Dance yarn (100% silk noil, fingering weight yarn) as seen blocking in this old post (just a tad over 2 years ago). However, she was having trouble with her supplier and the actual scarf was made in Tapestry yarn, which she no longer carries in her shop, which was slightly thicker than the Dance. However, in all honestly, I preferred it in the finer fingering weight yarn.

Clickable, as usual.

In any event, I now have the rights to sell it myself and it's available on my sidebar, as well as in my etsy shop and on Ravelry. It's a gorgeous scarf, works up quickly, relatively simple pattern repeat and would work well with the Dance yarn or any silk or bamboo blend fingering weight yarn.  Great teacher gift!  Uses about 300 yards of yarn and final size is 64" x 5" (or make it longer if you like).
