Concentration Problems and a FO

You see, I started working on a new pattern and found out I disliked the yarn immensely (Paton's Kroy Sock Yarn)and I had a head cold and I persisted to work on the pattern until it frustrated the hell outta me and I gave up. Then, stroke of genius, I decide to make a pair of toe-up socks using Heart N Sole (I like the yarn-shhh, I know, it's Red Heart, but I kinda like using it),

however the small hook, head cold, total revamping of the living room (can you say "wheel is coming down"? and playroom (soon to be den), frustrated me and bored me and I knew I needed a quick fix project. So, I pulled out some Wool-Ease Chunky (not Quick N Thick) and whipped up an earflap hat in about 2 hours. I wrote crib notes on the pattern (if anyone is interested) and I'll post it her and on Ravelry if I can decipher the notes tomorrow.

Hello stranger! Super cute hat! I like it a lot. Just wanted to pop in and see how you're doing. It's been so hectic with a baby and working 30 hours plus working at home that I've lost touch with all of my blogs. Anyhow, hope you're doing well. And I agree on the Kroy Sock yarn. I never liked it either. Merry Christmas!
