I have only crocheted one sock. I had never done it before so I was up for a challenge. After much ripping and redoing it, this is what I figured it was worth. Yarn-$5 Time- 10 hours-$10 an hour=$105. I can't even afford myself. When I come into some big money I may make the other sock
LOL-yes, socks are expensive to make, but they are so much nicer than store bought ones. Try the Toe Up sock pattern. http://www.dyakcraft.com/socks.htm
