This means the end of summer here. Yeah, the pool is still open, but unusually cooler weather has it at a chilly 75 degrees (cold to me) and Saturday is supposed to hit 84, but then mid to high 70's after that. We'll close it in a few weeks.
We had a terrific summer, hitting Delaware, beaches in Ocean City, Maryland and North Wildwood. Parties with friends, cook-outs with friends, etc. We even got a few Phillies games in this year. We got lucky, each planned beach excursion was rain free, and it rained a lot this summer here, more than usual.

Getting back into the routine of school has been tough around here, but the girls love their teachers so I'm looking forward to a nice school year.
75?? We dropped down to 88 and I almost grabbed a jacket! :-)
Wow, kids go back to school late there in NJ! Most of the schools here in the Cleveland area went back the third week of August. My kids' first day was August 24th. They get out the first week of June, though.
It's rained almost every day this summer here in Cleveland. Some days have barely hit 70. That's OK with me though, because I can't stand that 80+ degree weather anymore.
I'm totally jealous that at 45, you can still wear a bikini! You're lucky to still be so thin. I haven't worn a bikini since I was a kid. I've gained a lot of weight since I had my kids, so I'm embarrassed to put on any kind of bathing suit anymore. And then my stomach is all scarred and misshapen from my colon surgeries, so that rules out a bikini, anyway.

Elsie, I wouldn't go that far (sisters), but she is definitely (for now anyway) my mini-me. She's tall for her age and wears same shoe size as I do!
