FO's and Thank You

Cindy (multicolourred)(she has no blog!) over on Ravelry made these "Fetchings" for me as sort of a swap (Tofutsies for the knit handwarmers). I sent her the skein of Noro Silk Garden, clueless to how the colorway would work out-they rock and I love them and yes, it's one skein for them and amazing how different the colors look. Must learn to knit cause I want more! Thank you Cindy!

I also made a neckwarmer using a terrific pattern by Vicki Suan thanks to Vera's recent post on it.

I didn't realize my buttons were on the opposite side, no matter, it slips over my head anyway and it allowed me to use some vintage buttons (and the picture doesn't show it, but they are "abalone" color in the center of the flower and petals. I followed the exact pattern and use Malabrigo Worsted in Mystery Purple.

I had enough of the Malabrigo (the pattern only took about 150 yards or so) to make a few felted bowls-pic is of one of the unfelted ones (haven't felted them yet) for to hold stitch markers and such.

Off to make a different neckwarmer/cowl-it's cold here!

Those are very cute projects! That's amazing that those gloves came from the same skein of yarn - the colors are so different. I love ribbed, fingerless gloves. I need to learn how to knit one of these days too, so I can make some.

I've been thinking about making some felted coasters. I've only ever felted HDC, not single, so I don't know how big to make them. It would be a fun experiment!
