Sushi Scarf II Finished

I finally finished this up. No pic, exactly the same as Sushi Scarf I. I had a few hats to make, but then remembered a pair of Koigu Fingerless Gloves I had to make first (these are Magic Stripes Fingerless Gloves)-than I'll move onto the hats. Elena now wants a Sushi Scarf, different hat and something else (escapes me now), but that can be done later. I usually enjoy the crocheting, but whenever I have a deadline, suddenly I don't enjoy it as much and everything seems endless. I know I am not the only one who feels like this. I have consignments to do, suddenly I hate the pattern and feel the pressure and don't like doing it, put it off til last minute and then am up half the night trying to get it done because of a deadline.

The Christmas lights outside are finally up, lit and even some new ones added. Elena is getting more and more excited about the upcoming holiday and her week off from school. Things are moving right along.......a bit too fast for me.

I did break down and order the Noro Kureyon Sock Yarn yesterday-I'll post more on it when it comes in.

Elena's curls are back. Last night she made me scrub her hair twice to ensure all the straightening creme was out and she was "thrilled" they came back, all is well in the world now.

Not much going on this weekend, bad weather scheduled for tomorrow (only heavy rain here), but Nor'easter-good day for just hunkering down and hanging out at home, no?

Yeah, I pretty much refuse to do commission work because then I'd hate what I'd agreed to do. :P
