Thank You

In the past two weeks, I have received numerous emails from people thanking me regarding my Bubbles Baby Blanket pattern posted on Crochet Pattern Central.

Many included photos, as well as notes telling me their church groups were using the patterns to make as donations, first time crocheters making the blanket for their first grandchild, people making them as gifts, etc.

I thank them all for writing me and letting me know they liked the pattern, telling me their stories and sending me their pictures. It's very gratifying knowing a pattern I originally wrote up as a pattern I was using for donations to the NICU at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia is being used and enjoyed by so many.

I will have to remember this pattern when I have another baby blanket to make. I love your patterns b/c they ALWAYS work. I have made several scarves from one of your patterns and I'm currently addicted to making washcloths from your patterns. If I have something to make, I alway search your blog for patterns first b/c I know I will be happy with them. Thanks for the great patterns (and blog)!

Merry, thank you for your "praises". I try to check and double check all my patterns and write them out as simply as possible. It's nice to receive such positive feedback!

Deneen, I will be using the Chunky Brimmed Hat II for the donations to the long term care unit and Pine Ridge this year. I love having a hat pattern I can understand!. Everyone in the world finds hats easy, but up to now I just haven't 'gotten it'. Thanks.

I have made quite a few of this pattern as gifts and always am amazed how the recipient reacts. It's a relazing way to create such a memorable gift. I've also donated to a few charity events here in my home town. The most recent gift took me only about 9 total hours to make and it turned out beautiful. I make them a little larger so they can be used as a wrap over infant seats, too.
