Still here, since Sunday-the sun hasn't even attempted to come out. Damp, cool, although it's supposed to get very warm here the next few days. Tuesday was cool enough that I wore jeans (never in the Summer) AND the wool socks Wendy made me-I dread the thought of winter coming. I am sure the pool with be an utter mess by the weekend, lots of cleaning and chlorinating to be done. We thought about closing the pool next weekend, but my b'day and Labor day falls then and I didn't exactly feel like spending my birthday closing up the pool. Definitely the following weekend though, definitely.

I am taking a small break from the "secret project"-not for any other reason, I just feel like working with some other yarn. Breaking my own WIP rule-will wonders ever cease?

I am finally working on the grannies for Priscilla and Blankets for the Gulf. I am so hard headed sometimes, doing a basic granny square and I have no clue why I had the irrational dislike for making them-I guess if I had to make 50 or so, I would hate them, but for now it's a breeze. Caron Simply Soft in Raspberry.

I also decided to make some flip flop socks using Knit Picks Parade I had in my stash. Primary colors and I hate to break up a set of two skeins, but it is what it is. I think the color is Crayons, but I can't remember now.

Other than that, just a quiet day here.

I get bored sometimes so I have more than one project going, it is the way I am. Still I always get caught in the mystery of creating something out of a hook, a pair of needles and some thread.

Well here in NC it is hot hot and we finally got rain here in Asheboro on Wed and Tuesday. It will be 98 tomorrow so the heat is still on here in the NC. I have my name on the list to join Ravelry but I have a long time to go before I get my invite. I hope you have a great weekend. Theresa

I always look forward to Labor Day because it seems to be the time when our weather pattern changes. Fall is my favorite time of the year.
I think I saw your birthdate in your Ravelry notebook. I hope it's a good one.
