If you use bookmarks to view the site, you can update your bookmarks to blogspot addy is still fine too-the domain name is easier to remember is all.

It's early and we are headed out to take Elena to Brownie/Girl Scout camp for an overnight. Yes, I am nervous. I'm not worried about her getting hurt or anything, her leaders are terrific. I'm not worried about her being away overnight, although I may get a phone call, but I doubt it. I am worried about the whole social aspect of it. Two local troops are going and I don't know how many others will be there-it's just a lot of girls and a lot of time being spent together. You all remember what it was like when you were a kid and were around a bunch of girls for a long period of time? Yes, I hated that part of growing up-such drama. The weather is supposed to be great, they have lots of activities planned, Elena is looking forward to canoing-no she's never done it before, but wants too-she's not so excited about archery. Can't you tell I am nervous?

Elena's class trip was a big hit, Junie B. Jones play was awesome (or so I heard) and the park afterwards pretty cool. She woke up so early yesterday AM due to excitement and couldn't get to sleep Thursday night (due to excitement)-at least she was tired enough last night to conk right out and not let the excitement keep her up. She should be very crabby by tomorrow afternoon though. I hope she has a great time.

Well, we're off......

Oh how fun! I loved girl scout trips when I was a kid. She'll have a great time.

My daughter loved Junie B. Jones when she was in elementary school. You're daughter sounds like she's having a blast.

How did she like her camping trip?

I know what you mean. Girls are kind of evil starting around that age. I don't know what it is, but very dramatic.
