In case you are wondering

My "fab deal" on ebay for the Interchangeable Needles seems to have hit a snag-I haven't received the item (it's been a few weeks) and I did email the seller and she said her mom had an emergency and she would ship the next day-well that was last week and still not here. I then emailed her again and she asked for my mailing info and said she would get back tome immediately with the tracking info....can you guess? No, I didn't hear from her. They've received two negatives in the past week for slow shipping (so far all who posted negative received the items), but there's always those who never post a negative or anything. Yes, I filed a Paypal complaint tonight...grrrr

On other news, I am making fantastic little drawstring bag, pattern courtesy of Mimi. I don't know if it is a pattern she is selling, I didn't see it on her site, but it'll be a gift bag for the pendant I bought for Elena's teacher. Tomorrow is Teacher Appreciation Day, so I will give it to her for that and get flowers or a plant for the year end gift. Anyway, I am using the Cannon thread Mimi sells, in the SC040 and I love it! No I am not getting paid to post about this or anything, I like the thread and it's something we can't find here in the US! I love the little bag pattern too because it is similar to the Stylish Sack Bag I made some time ago as far as shaping and it's really a unique (to me anyway) way Mimi has written the bag pattern up. I have never seen the shaping technique she uses on any US patterns and it so rocks!

I also think I am finally passing the kidney stone or I have a bladder infection-not sure which. I have the symptoms of the bladder infection accompanied with the back pain of the stone. Yes, I took a pain pill and hope it just passes. I would rather pass the stone then have an infection where I'll have to take antibiotics. At least once it passes, it passes and that's it. Yes, I took a pain pill tonight (can't ya tell by my rambling post) and hopefully it'll help.

I hope it passes quickly and that you don't need to go to the ER.

I never liked my needlemaster. Maybe you will get your money back and you can buy yourself the Options set.

Good luck.

Just remember that back pain + UTI symptoms can = kidney infection, which can = deadly. Don't wait more than 24 hours. Better to pass the stone at the ER and feel a little silly than to get a kidney infection and have to spend a week in the hospital.

Sorry to hear that you're feeling poorly, I hope it (whatever 'it' is!) passes quickly!

Hope you're feeling better soon! Be careful--like Jessica said, you can get the back pain with a UTI if it gets to your kidneys. Either way, no fun.

Bummer on the needles. I hope you get that resolved in your favor.

As for the stones, ouch. I hope you feel better.

Sucks about the ebay crap I hate when that happens.

Oh I really hope you're feeling better by now. With a stone you have pain only when it is on the go, so if it is indeed the stone hopefully it's working its way through your system and is on its way out. I don't recall Mark having UTI symptoms though, and I really hope you don't have both at once. The ER doc told him that many people get kidney or bladder infections or UTIs because the stones are jagged and scrape things up in there, leaving you open to infection. I hope you are feeling better! Lots of water and though it sucks, lots of moving around and walking will help it pass if its the stone. Okay, this is long enough. :) Feel better hon.

Ooo, I hope you feel better soon.

What US size thread is the Cannon thread comparable too ? There are some really great colors on her site.

I hope you feel better soon. I've never had a problem with my kidneys (knock on wood), but I understand it can be very painful.

Mimi has some beautiful patterns. I still want to make the Sck Bag when I can allow myself to buy yarns and patterns again.
