Not much going on. Elena did go to the play yesterday, loved it and had dinner with my mom. Mike and I did get the "adult time" we needed *wink-wink*. Before Elena left, she asked if Mike and I were going somewhere that would bore her, which is why she was going to Gram-Grams (her new name for my mom). I told her no, we were staying home. She thought for about a second and then asked "Are you gonna kiss, smooch and make out while I am gone? That's totally gross, but I know adults do that sort of thing."-Nothing gets past her!

I kept her home from school today. Her temp is down and her illness is now progressing into a cold, runny nose, cough, sore throat, but not bad enough to have her feeling crappy. Last night, between DST and her cough, she was awake at midnight-I made her take Delsym cough stuff-she whined, cried and generally through a hissy, but she fell right asleep and slept til 8:00 AM. Since I have work tomorrow, I figured it was best to let her have a restful day. I did, however, take her outside for some fresh air and for some softball playing around. She was so happy to be outside (school has been keeping them in too), she danced and sung "Spring, Spring, you make me so happy". Tomorrow, warm, around 65 and Wednesday too and then back down to the 40's-I'll take what I can get.

The scope is approaching and I dread it-the whole IV thing, etc. However, I think I figured out the increase in Nexium is probably causing the stomach pain, other TMI stuff, muscle aches, etc. I suspected it before, but was only on 20 mg and now the 40 mg has made it much worse. I told Mike to remind me to discuss it with the doctor after the test (I will be loopy then and more than likely will forget til I get home and then kick myself). I want off of the drug and just going off of it didn't work last time, I need something to replace it or a wean.

I am making some hotpads today, although I have that work to do for work-I'll get to it, no choice, but I sure don't feel like it.

Fiber Freaks is having "Kitchen Swap" sign ups til the 21st-for all those interested.

UGH on the scope, but hopefully you will get some answers... growing older sucks so bad...
If I had time I would sign up but darn with the move and all just no time.

None of the medical stuff sound like fun, but it has to be taken care of sometimes.
I hope you and E feel better soon.
