Elena's Hair

The Infusium has helped tremendously. I mentioned the ceramic straightener and what it would entail and she is thinking about it. I wash her hair every other day in the winter, daily in the summer (the pool, playing outside), so it may not be ideal for summer time. She lets me try an "do" it in the AM, although there are no tangles, she still balks.

She has a part today and insisted I put it in a bun (not ponytail). I spent 10 minutes on it and she squawked so much, the best I could do. She insists it's very "princess like" and needs the tendrils coming down the sides. (Don't cha just wanna squeeze those chubby little cheeks showing? I always do. It's funny because she's a skinny kid, has the cheeks-just like I did and do)

I am so glad you are going with her on growing it out! My goddaughter has hair just like hers, and it is the most gorgeous long thick wavy head of hair now, it makes folks green with envy. As another with long wavy hair, it is so much easier to be able to do ponies and french braids on off days and summer.
Just blow a kiss to those cheeks, as I am sure they are sore from all the pinches already!

Big kid cheeks are the best. That's my favorite place to plant kisses on Geof...although now he's started wiping them off!
