Bag Finished

But I haven't lined it yet, so technically only the crochet part is finished, which is why the drawstring isn't set up yet or the holder around the drawstring, but I am going to try to line it in the next week.

Super pattern-I only had issues with the drawstring and it's issues with the small hook and myself-so I did my own drawstring. I did the entire bag, including drawstring and holder with a 3.75 mm hook and the DK weight mercerized cotton. Total yarn yardage was about 575-600 yards. This would work great with Classic Elite cotton or any other mercerized WW cotton-I think the DK weight felt the same as the Tahki Cotton Classic.

I tried to make an I-cord using the "Embellish It" crank type thing, but the yarn was too heavy, so I got the corker out-the yarn had no give and made it a bugger, so I just did a ch/sc/sl around for the drawstring and it fit through the eyelets perfectly.

Pattern rating: 5 star-perfect for anyone. The beginning part, written well, starts out a little wonky and you question yourself, but as long as the stitch count is on, it works itself out perfectly!

Go buy the pattern, you won't be sorry!

Oh I like that bag. Great job.

I've found that Embellish It only works on sport type yarn.
