Progress

For those of you wondering about Elena's Cotton Ease Scrap Ghan-progress is being made.

I have a few more rounds of color around the edges and may (you can help me decide) crochet a pink heart and sew it into the middle of the ghan.

I sweat the sides are all even, when I took the picture, it was too big for the area I had to lay it out in.

It's super soft and she is loving it, so I would say it's an A+ project as far as satisfaction goes.

I am working from home today and, since I used to work from home and for myself for years, you would think I would situate myself better, but I guess I am out of practice. I decided to work from my laptop on the recliner in the living room-mistake. Two hours sitting in one position with the laptop on my lap and doing internet searches proved to be a bit much for my lower back-aargh-lesson learned. Anyway, I didn't shower yet (another thing working from home makes me forget-a schedule), so I am hopping in now. Foodie Friday post will hopefully be done for tomorrow. I am working all day in the real office, so time will tell.

I love the blanket--I'd forgo the heart, but that's just me--I think you should let Elena decide :-)

I am leaning towards skipping the heart too, but I made the mistake of making the center square (the first one, of course) using dc and the stitch is kind of open and seems like it would pull easily. If I ask Elena, she'll want the heart, because she loves hearts and pink, but I would prefer to skip it.

Great job on the 'ghan. I would skip the heart (but just because of the extra work). The big blocks can stand on their own.
