Not for me, for Elena. She was crabby miserable last night and asked to go to bed 1/2 hour early-I knew we were doomed. She slept through the night, but woke up a lot just to call out to me to make sure I was upstairs. She also announced "No touching me"-one sick little girl here. Her temp was 101.8 this AM, so I gave her a cool rag and begged her to take Junior Tylenol. If you recall, last year I went through this and it took her a couple hours to take two chewables, which meant the dosage hours were all messed up. She's not a pill/medicine taker and never was and has to be very sick to take anything. She asked for Tylenol this AM, I gave it to her and halfway through the first pill she announced "Okay, changed my mind, I'm spitting". I told her not to, but she whining like crazy in the other room. I decided to take some advice from Wendy and threaten a suppository. She had one for the seasickness on the trip to Bermuda and I figured she would just take the damn chewable. No such luck, I mentioned the suppository and she answered with "Great, can I spit this out now?"-I then had to backpeddle and tell her I didn't have a suppository. Darn kids, too smart for their own good.
Anyway, I have to call out of work at the law office. Mike may be able to be home tomorrow so I can work then, Thursday is special ed and Friday was a day off, but I will work if I have to. Well, gotta call the school/work and check my crabby little baby.
