Happy 7th Birthday Elena!

I cannot believe 7 years have passed, yet it seems like you have been with me forever (in a good way).

Pics of then and now:

The baby pic she is about 5 days old, weighs about 4 lbs and looks a bit jaundiced. If you look closely enough, on your bottom right (or her left) you can see the damn IV line and other stuff sticking out from under her shirt. I also have to say, when I received this picture, about 3 weeks after having her, I was sure the hospital sent me the wrong picture. This baby looked nothing like my child. I studied it and realized, yes, in fact those were the preemie clothes I asked them to put her in for her picture and yes, she did indeed have that IV line-she must be mine. At the time (and even now) all I could think of was a plucked chicken.
