Question

Has anyone actually used Joann Boucle for fringe? I am worried about using it because of how it tends to fall apart and I could knot the ends, but am having serious doubts. I finished the shawl and made several last year and did an edging, but unfortunately, never wrote down what I did and since I gifted them all out, I am out of luck there. I went through all my reference books and can't find anything that "speaks" to me. Right now, I am doing a sc edge around and then have to come up with some sort of edging.

Anyway, anyone????

Edited: I finished this one without fringe and ended up making a three row lace edging, something I didn't want to get into, but wanted the project done. I'll post pics tomorrow or Tuesday, as my camera battery has run out (something I have read a million times this past week on blog posts) and is charging up now.

I think I'll whip up a hat and scarf set as part of the CAL at Fiber Freaks.

I've chained a fringe and slip stitched back to the beginning for homespun so it wouldn't disintegrate into a yarn gag so I'd think it would work good for the rainbow boucle too.
