Hump Day

I am almost finished the baby cap to go with the sweater. In my anal way, I decided it had to be striped-I suck sometimes, but dammit it's gonna be striped. I have woven in 6 ends so far and am only halfway through. I'll post a pic later.

I don't know what I will start when that is done-debating between the Fat Bottom and Sweet. I should get to soap milling, ugh. PT is cancelled for today, so the day is basically mine, except for a trip to the garage (Mike's car broke down two days before the trip-of course). It's only semi-fixed, but I want to drop off the check for what is fixed later and go to the library and pick up a book waiting. Laundry again (why this family of mine insists on wearing clothing, I will never know) and sheets to be done today.

Funny story-you know how when you seem busy as heck, something gets added on? Well yesterday Elena came home from school and announced "Great news, you don't have to come in tomorrow for Kid's Writing, we're starting next week-we have a field trip to the firehouse today". Of course, I had no clue what she was talking about. I open her backpack and in it is the info about me being a room mother again for this year. Okay, I said I would do that-well, apparently I also said I would volunteer one day a week in the classroom. I say apparently because I have no recollection of agreeing, but must have because "my assignment" was tucked neatly in the bag. Every Wednesday (was supposed to start today, but the firehouse trip saved me)I will go in at 10:15 AM and help the class with their "Kid's Writing"-which is journal writing and story writing. Sigh-I don't know how this happens, but I am in now and can't get out-I was "assigned". I have a feeling it's only gonna get more involved, but it is only around the corner, so I'll bite the bullet and just do it.

Anyway, what to start next, what to start next...hmmmmmmm

Sounds like you've got plenty to choose from - you won't get bored!

Will you able to complete your "assignment" if you're teaching on a Wednesday?
