Another Lost Day

I finished the hat a few minutes ago-didn't start working on it til around 4:00 PM this afternoon and I don't know where the day went. I did the laundry, sheets and vacuumed the living room. I then ran to the garage down the street to drop off the check-the owner's hadn't seen me since December of last year and were surprised how "good" I looked, considering they claimed I just looked "so damn sick" when they last saw me. Then they went on to tell me how they "heard how sick I was" and how much better I looked. Somehow an hour went by and then it was time to go to the bus stop. I never made it to the library either.

Then the plane crash news. Weird thing about the plane crash. I read it on Comcast homepage, not much info, but then checked it out on Yahoo. I read through it and read the building housed offices and guest services for The Hospital for Special Services-Orthopedics. The name rang a bell-I called Mike, yes, he handles their retirement funds and investments for the directors in the same building. The weird part is the director emailed Mike last night to change a few investments, etc. I'm glad Mike didn't decide to head there today-creeped me out. Then I found out Cory Lidle was on the plane/owned the plane and was killed and he was recently traded from the Phillies this past July. It's all so strange.

That's how work is...sometimes I swear the clock isn't even moving and then next time...whoosh, day is over!
