Mail Goodies

Last week, someone had posted some knit picks yarn on DeStash-Cash for Your Stash. They had two different color skeins of WOA (Coal and Chocolate) and two skeins of the Merino Style in Cornflower (the One Skein Scarf as a Christmas gift for someone) and 8 skeins of the Andean Treasure-Baby alpaca in embers. Now, I can always use the loose single skein to make a striped felted bag and besides, they were a steal and I can never have enough wool yarn. The Andean Treasure is something I have been dying to use, but never seemed to buy it for myself. Well, all the yarn, including the 8 skeins of Andean Treasure was a mere $15.50 and that included the shipping! I received it in two days and am thrilled. The embers colorway is perfect for me and what do I plan to do with the Andean Treasure? Well, Amy has a pattern coming out in the fall issue of Crochet Me! I tested it for her-I told her I wanted to make myself one using either Merino Style or ideally using Andean Treasure-so see, the decision was made for me! I can't say anymore about the pattern or what it was or anything, but when it's up, I will be sure to let you know.

AHAHAHAHAHA! I tried to get that very same yarn and got an email back saying I was the second person to ask so it was already gone ... and it was YOU! I'm totally cracking up here.

I really like the colors of those wools.
I also received my yarn from Amy in a flash if only every yarn shipment came so fast.
