Ever have a really "DOH!" Moment

Ever have one of those moments that you cannot belief how damn stupid you can be?

Here's mine for today. I want to email my brother at work. I don't email him too often and his addy isn't in my address book. Usually, when I start typing in his address, comcast has it kinda pop up. Okay, so today I type out his email addy, but Comcast doesn't do the "reminder" thing and I assume it because I switched from IE to Firefox (I really know nothing about this). Anyway, I send his email and it comes back "undeliverable". Okay, I think it's a mistake in the dot com part, not the first part, so I play around, change it and yep, comes back. I am perplexed. Anyway, I email my husband and ask him if he has Ron's email addy. He sends it to me with a little reminder-Your brother's last name starts with an M not an N, like you had. Now, here's the DOH!-My brother's last name is my maiden name, we have the same parents, it's a name I used for 30 freaking years-You would think I would know what it starts with and how to spell it wouldn't you?

Forgetting ur bro's name ain't bad. I walk from room to room trying to remember what I was doing, forgot my mother's birthday, have to ask what store I'm in when writing a check..... LOL!

I had the same thing happen to me once, I mis-spelled my maiden name when emailing my mom.
