Aaaargh-Returns

Apparently, flare leg jeans run about 1 1/2" longer then regular boot cut jeans-even when they are the same brand. Levi's have to be returned-much too long and I don't have it in me to hem them and ditto for a pair of the Old Navy jeans. Even if I had brought Elena with me, I wouldn't have had her try on both pair of the Old Navy jeans. I guess my mom was right when she always said "Try EVERYTHING on, even same brands". Well, at least it makes taking back my skirt easier, however, I have three stores to go to to return 3 things. Should be fun for me and E this week.

I always try on... sometimes there's minor differences in how they're sewn, and other times they're mislabelled altogether!

I found out years ago my Gitano jeans all had to be tried on because different colors even of the same style could be cut in different countries! I took one size most of the time, but certain colors I had to go up or down a size and once, oh happy day! I was able to put one pair of size 10 that fit into my wardrobe.

Levis - they are just as Kathy said - cut and sewn in different countries so they fit differently. I hate shopping but I don't like trying stuff on in stores either so I do one-stop shopping, try everything on at home and return it all within 2-3 days tops. I still shop for the kid, if you can believe it. He's easy and now that he's not having the growth spurts I can breathe a sigh of relief. But we never have ever done back to school shopping - just buy as needed.
