Buffalo Style Chicken Breasts

This is my Foodie Friday installment for this week. I have made this countless times and everyone loves it, so it is tested and approved.

Buffalo Style Chicken Breasts

Ingredients:
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup flour
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (about 1 1/4 lbs)
1/3 cup milk

Buffalo sauce:
1/2 stick butter
Hot sauce to taste (4-8 ounces)

Combine flour, salt and pepper in a Zip-loc type bag. Dip chicken in milk and then flour mixture. Let sit on a plate for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.Fry chicken until golden, about 5-6 minutes each side. Remove chicken and drain on paper towels.

Meanwhile, melt butter in a small sauce pan and stir in hot sauce til combined. Spoon this over the chicken breasts and serve.

Serves 3-4 people.

mmm...sounds good. I've had a taste for bbq type chicken lately.
