Always listen to your mother..................

Haven't blogged cause I was hospitalized again. Gallbladder-really infected. I went back to the ER Saturday AM, told them to shove the "withdrawal diagnosis" and do something. Different ER doctor and so it went. I had an infected gallbladd full of sludge which had adhesions all over it from steroid use and had actually pushed down and squished my colon. I ended up on IV antibiotics for a few days and has surgery on Tuesday morning. I was released today and feel absolutely fantastic. The doctor also said that it had been bad for probably several years and the infection could be the cause of the auto-immune flares. He was so freaking fascinated by it, he took color pictures. When I pick up my records, I may scan one for you-weird shit I must say. The only thing the surgeon said in the recovery room to me is "Bad, bad, bad" and "My God, your coloring is so much better, it's amazing". I wasn't allowed any food or drink for 5 days til yesterday and I pigged out with no ill effects.

Hopefully, I can get back to some hooking soon. In any event, I'm home and resting and feel better than I have since November. Yeah!

Man, I was beginning to worry about you again! No wonder! I am glad that is out and over with. I had my gallbladder out a few years ago and it was totally worth it.

Deneen, I'm so glad you are feeling better. It's amazing what happens when doctors get it right for a change!!!!! I just don't understand why it takes them so long to figure out those things!! Hopefully this is the beginning of lots more healthy days for you! YAYAYAYA
