Wool Swap Wool Arrived! Yippee! More yarn envy for you!

I was so patient waiting for this, really I was. Kimberly taunted me also with pics on her blog of her recent spinning and me wondering, Is that for me?????" Anyway, the package arrived today and I am thrilled!

She sent me two hanks of her handspun: One is Sherwood Forest and is a beautiful deep green with flecks of cream throughout. The second is a lavender mix of unscoured wool, that is so soft and pretty. She also sent two balls of merino she spun: one is an off white with blue and green throughout and the other is a brown with flecks of color throughout. She also sent some Knit Picks wool, two skeins of Wool of the Andes in Red and one in black, as well as a skein of Parade sock yarn. The red and black are already spoken for. I am working on my latest pattern, a gusseted bag with bamboo handles, have black handles already, so the yarn colors are perfect. Also included in my package was a beaded scissor fob that her kids make that is beautiful. It hooks on the scissors and then you can find them easily in your bag. She sells them on her site, so take a click over. She also included an Army T-shirt for Elena and a gorilla in full Army attire, which Elena loved, of course.

This swap was so much fun-I can't wait til the next one.

Lovely wool! Very cool. I thought I would tell you that you probably will need another ball of the parade if you decide to make socks with it. I actually needed 3 balls to make the size socks I have been working on.
