I am so proud!

About a month or so ago, I received an email at my yarns and musing addy asking about my Bubbles Baby Blanket, which is on CPC. Anyway, she wasn't new to crocheting, but had problems with reading patterns and just found out she was going to be a grandmother. She was excited and wanted to make the blanket, but a little confused by the stitch pattern and asked me to explain it step-by-step. So, I printed out the pattern, sat down and broke it down and sent it back to her later that day. I also told her she had *wink* to send me a picture of it when it was done.

Well, she did it and it came out so wonderful! So, I then asked if I could publish the pics and she agreed and here it is!

Doesn't it look great!

Here is what she sent me:
"Hello Deneen:
I don't know if you remember me or not, but you were so kind to me and sent me the step by step instructions of the blanket. I promised you I would send you a picture of it when I made it. Here it is. I absolutely love it!
Thank you so much again for your kindness.
Happy Holidays.
Love Ellen"

That's so great =) If I ever have need to make a baby blanket I intend to make this one.... but none of my friends plan to have any more kids, and I sure as hell dont! Maybe I'll make a new friend someday who plans on kids ;)

Damn is it me or are the verification words getting longer and longer? *dzwannum* lol

That's just sooo sweet! You should be proud - that lady will always remember you helped her.

I'm glad to hear that things are going a little bit better with you - I can't even believe they made you go out though - I would try to file a complaint or something. I mean, WTF, really??

Thank you for thinking about me when you have been so icky feeling yourself, too!!
