Happy New Year's Eve!

Well, the flare is winding down, finally. Just minor foot pain and still the hand problem, but I am really, really feeling better. Of course, as I knew, it ended with pleurisy. I knew it would and yesterday, when I had the familiar chest pain, I called the doctor right away, got the script and am on the way to recovering. The repiratory infection is clearing up with the antibiotics, so all is finally getting some normalcy. I think it'll take about a month before my strength is back. I miss the crocheting and, of course, the hands are the last to get better this time, but it is sooooo much better.

We're spending New Year's Eve home, hanging out and eating chips and dip, pepperoni, homemade guacamole and watching TV-typical American vegging out family. I am looking forward to it. Tomorrow will just be a hanging out day too, football games and snack foods. Elena is back to school on tuesday (woo-hoo!).

She has a play date over today, her best friend Ava and they are fighting like cats and dogs and fully trashing the house, how nice it is to have so much noise and camaraderie in the house today. I am actually enjoying the bustle of it all, although a nap wouldn't be so bad soon.

Happy New Year to all my blogging buds! Beth I haven't heard from you in ages, hope all is well. Lori , glad you had a nice family holiday!
