Going Well

The IV therapy has helped a lot. Still some pain, of course, but only two pain pills yesterday and I was able to crochet, eat with my right hand, etc. It's a big deal to me. I am nervous cause tomorrow is the last IV dose and it's back to the oral meds, which is way lower dose, but I'll take these two days and keep positive thoughts for next week. My rheumy called me yesterday and practically promised better by Christmas, so I'll make him keep to that promise.

We had Elena's party today and it was great. All her whining about "not wanting family party with no other kids, etc. she had a blast". I did my hair and put on make up and am whooped, not tired, tired, but happy to be home, but it was nice to get out.

Here is a few pictures. She got this outfit from a family friend of 33 years (so she's family really) last week for her birthday present, so she wore it today (she's pictured with my mom). She also got a pirate (see Lori) treasure chest with map, and all the accessories, so she had to don it and walk around saying "Aargh-got any booty" and then hit my aunt up for her diamond ring. She was subtle all right.

Oh, and my big Snap pea connection, was the bomb I knew it would be. My SIL, who we won't confuse with a rocket scientist here, was supposed to pick them up at the Asian market. She brough two frozen bags of whole soy beans. Even Elena asked her "Do these look like snack chips to you Aunt Angela?". Sad, no. Even sadder is Elena and I are still Snap Pea free and jonesing!

Anyway, have a great weekend, I know I will.

What an adorable outfit. Love the pirate addition too, LOL. She looks proud as punch too.
So great that the IV helped with the pain, and your hand could be used for hooks (thanks to the needles,...ar-be-dar, what a pun huh), LOL Get that hand better and you can slap me with it, hahaa

Glad you're feeling better! Elena looks so happy! Glad you had a good time! Say howdy to the pirate for me.

I have two bags of snow peas. I could ship them to you...but then I'd have none! Wah! Actually, I've not been eating them, so you just might find them in your mail box. I can easily get more...

I'm crossing all body parts that cross that the drop in steroids won't freak your body out. I'll invoke the powers of Shronedom and snow peas to keep you on an even keel. (Pirate talk, ar-ar-ar-!)
