Amazing Package

Today was not an amazing health day, very bad in fact. Very, very bad. The arthritis is so bad, I am a bit overwhelmed by it all. I doubled my steroid dose (80 mg) cause I knew I couldn't get a hold of the doctor today and knew I wouldn't walk without doing it. I am not using the Imuran. Twice I have tried and twice it has made my legs and arms so heavy I can't move them. I am putting my foot down! I have had it. So that's the update for that and I'm moving on to other things.

Is it just me or does everything lately seem like it's in another dimension? Over at Crochetville, the most bizarro things are happening. Weird comments, unusual behavior, just odd stuff. Is it the holidays? Is it something else? I am really a bit freaked out by all the oddities. Anyone else or is it my steroid addled brain???

Also, I received an amazing package from "down under" today. It contained a calendar, 12 Days of Christmas book (australian style), candy and some pure tussah silk roving-something I have never seen, touched, anything-amazing. Even more amazing was a bag of hand combed, hand dyed 100% mohair roving-another first for me. The colorway is absolutely brilliant and I am stunned by the package. I have to get the spindle out and learn. January, I will, I will. Jacqui sent me one package already and this was her second and I can't thank her enough for this. I know all you spinners are drooling now and you should be!

Thank yo so much!

Enough for now, my hands are working and of all nights, Mike has to work til 9:00, so I want to get Elena bathed while I can still move.

I am so sorry the arthritis is back. The doctor just needs to realize that 'normal' doses don't cut it for you. Pet your goodies and rest. {{Gentle Hugs}}
