Finished Ghan/Throw

I finished this up today. Not my choice of colors, but my brother and SIL have done their LR in red and black, so.....

I made this pattern up, but wrote it down if anyone wants it. Super easy, total time is about 6 hours.

I used an "N" hook (Crystallites) and RHSS (Ick!) in Hot Red, Gray heather and black. Total yarn used was about 7 ounces of the red, 6 ounces of the heather gray and 4 ounces or so of the black. I also didn't mind the way the heather was working up, so I read the label. Yup, 75% acrylic/25% rayon-had a better feel than the rest.

Anyway, it's about 45" x 60". Only stitches used were chain, sc, hdc and dc (V stitches).

Very nice, Deneen. I know it's hard when it's not your choice of yarn or colors but that is awesome.

They're going to love it, I love how vibrant that red is with the gray.

It's *very* couple-appropriate, which I think can be difficult with crocheted items. This has got good balance b/t masculine and feminine. Great job, if I even start doing 'ghans again I'm gonna want this pattern.

Okay, going forward you must add this title to your name:

Deneen, YS (yarn snob)

Don't worry, we still love you over here in the yarn trailer park! LMAO
