I used an H hook and just did a sc, ch 1 stitch across and the sc into each ch 1 space after that. I am realizing I am getting older as I had trouble seeing the green stitches and had to actually hold them up to the light, etc. Aging is a bitch.
Anyway, this is done with Classic Elite Inca Alpaca (almost the full hank) in a heathered tan color and 1 1/4 skeins of Rowan Idina-Ronay (which is a 50% mulberry silk (don't really know what that is) and 50% superfine Botany wool) in color pine.
It's super soft and warm. So see, Andrea-I did find a use and plus I have some leftover for my wool pile!

Nice! I bet that'll keep you warm this winter. :)
Very nice! I love that stitch. It's so simple but it gives such a fantastic effect.
Your scarf is lovely. The colors work well together.
