WIP Wednesday...Not

I'm still working on the Ella. Crocheting has been slow because I have a stack of library books I must read. Before crocheting, I could devour a book a day, now, I'm lucky if I get through one every two weeks at most. I have actually gone months and not read and I think my brain is paying for it. I need reading to nourish my brain and soul-and, of course, I went online and requested a bunch of new books that just came out and a bunch came in at once (always the way, or you have to wait six months, never anything in between).

I have so many WIM's and patterns printed and waiting, it's mind boggling. I have a few tops I want to make for Elena, kerchiefs for Elena, a bathing suit wrap for me for our cruise, a few shawls, some more barefoot sandals (now Elena wants a pair too), etc. It's driving me crazy, but my OCD won't allow me to start without finishing what I'm working on first. Argh!

I thought about my SP post yesterday and I didn't mean to be negative or whining, it just wasn't as fun as in the past. C'ville has a great bunch of people, I love C'ville like crazy and I won't let a few bad apples spoil my fun.

We have story time at the library today (woo-hoo). I signed Elena up for the 3 1/2-5 year old group because there were less kids. I hope she has fun. It's supposed to be extremely hot, hotter than yesterday today, if possible. The humidity is getting to me, really. The pool was almost 90 yesterday and kinda felt "not so refreshing" yesterday. Next week, due to westerly winds, the temps are supposed to be in the 100's with high humidity, the only good thing is Saturday is supposed to be 88-cool. Never before have I called 88 a cool down, but here it is.

Lori I had trouble posting a comment on your blog today cause typeKey is a pain in the ass most times. The flowers look beautiful. My tomatoes and lavender are ginormous and I wish I had taken pics of the before shots. The weather has been great for them. I just did container gardening this year, next year a real garden. I really bitch and moan a lot about the gardening, but do have a green thumb, probably inherited from my Pop-Pop and with little effort always have a good outcome. That frightens me and it does freak my husband out a bit too.

About my toenail polish on the previous post, It's Rimmel 60 seconds Extreme polish. It's my fav and it's all I use on my toes cause I believe toenails need dark polish. It's an awesome color that changes from deep purple to almost black with some iridescent cerise in it. It's very freaky, and the color is called Zeitgeist. It's available at Wal-Mart and Target and the next time I get out there, I can pick some up for you Lori, let me know. I really need to redo my nails, but usually wait til they look more hellish. As for the tan color, it's from swimming and gardening, I don't lay out anymore. My legs are always the last to tan, while my arms, back and hands always get dark.

Also, all you bloggers, I do read all the posts through Bloglines, just haven't been commenting, part of my "going in my shell" mood. I read you all faithfully and apologist if any of you feel orphaned. I'm just in one of my moods, my husband calls it my "bad friend" mood. I didn't make any return calls yesterday and my girlfriend, who is as understanding as they come, left a message yesterday saying I am either extremely busy or in the pool a lot. She thinks if I am in the pool, I must look prune-like by now and should probably return her call. I feel like a shit. I am a shit. Maybe I'll call her today.....

Enough for now, Elena is beading and wants my constant approval on her jewelry making skills.

You're not a shit. Friends understand. Or they're not really friends, IMHO. So cut yourself some slack, OK? :)

I agree, you are NOT a shit...everyone has their moments, so take yours. I feel like I'm about to go in my shell for a few days too.

We just miss you that's all...other than that, take as much time as you need. I totally get your mood.

I totally understand how you feel--I get that way too. Sometimes I just get all reclusive and can't manage to communicate with anybody. Hang in there, take your time, and don't blame yourself for how you're feeling, okay?

Yah, love the Rimmel...omg, now I must go buy some of the Extreme..before my yarn stash obsession, I would buy nailpolish when I needed a "pick me up" to me from me gift...I have a LOT of polish, haha.

You are not a shit. If you are then that makes me one too, cause I am just now commenting on all my pals blogs. I've been in a bit of a funk, crochetwise, lifewise. Don't worry about, we all have these times so we all understand. one day at a time......
