Finally FO's

I finished these up this AM.

I had been eyeing the pattern from Mrs. Vickers of C'ville for almost three months. I also had been checking for nylon and only one store had it in white, so I improvised.

This is done in Sugar N Cream Summer Splash and Hot Blue. I followed the exact pattern, no changes. It used about 3/4 ball of Hot Blue and about 1 1/2 balls of the Summer Splash. I love the way it turned out!

Of course, I had enough to make a dishcloth with the leftovers. I loved this pattern.

Wow, that looks awesome. I love the way it striped for you. Looks sooo great. Those colors are some of my favorite in the cotton collection. That dish cloth looks familiar;)

I guess I'll be a little sheep and go along with the herd and say that I really like the colors, too...and it's true!! They remind me of a far away beach in the caribbean. Great job, I love that stitch!

I can get the nylon at my Hobby Lobby, and I have some in gunmetal grey that is taking me forever to work with.. it's HARD as in hard on the hands and I have to say I hate working with it. But the cotton you used came out darling, so who needs la'Espiga? Great job!
