Guinea Hen Update!

I knew I missed something in my last post and it's this. The guinea hen is back! I don't know where it went (I was told they sometimes wander off) and to be honest, I'm not sure it's the same one, but now we have two. I think, and this is only my opinion, that she (and I don't know if they are a he and she, I just assumed) was preggers and she had babies and stayed with them. She looks a lot thinner now. I was standing in the kitchen and looked out and window and saw two birds sitting in the grass! No way, I thought--upon closer look, yes two!!! No more crying on the swingset at sunset, no more running to the car when I come home chasing the toaster car down the driveway like I am his lost mommy!

I am so happy for him and for me!!!

Elena has renamed him Dinner. She chases him around screaming "come here dinner, come here dinner-I bet you're sweet and tasty". This from a child whose main source of protein is peanut butter and nuts. No meat goes in her mouth, no eggs, no cheese. Anyway, she said the one that was killed before, Lucky really wasn't so lucky, so it was a bad name and time to rename them. So one is Dinner and one is Kentucky (like KFC). She's too smart for her own good.

haha, quite the names for a little vegetarian to come up with. I'm glad she's back and he won't be lonely. An animal whose heart is broken is so damn sad to see. tink tink, watch out hubcaps!

Now that's a girl after my own heart! I have a bird named Drumstick, one named Hot Wings and another named Lox. Good for your GH! Found a friend...good news indeed.
