Mondays Musings

Well, it's been 56 hours and I feel like I'm going insane, but no smokes-

I'm working on the shrug Mrs. Who posted in C'ville. I made the mistake (?) of using hdc for the body, so I should be at it a while.

I also want to start some of the wristbags for teacher end of year presents. I started one on vacation, but didn't do the handles right-you know how that goes.

I am so happy to have a quiet 3 hours to myself when Elena is at school. The first in 11 days. I cannot wait!

Oh, Elena has a new loose tooth now on the bottom. I swear I do not remember having a bunch loose at once, but one of the other kids in her class is going through the same thing, so........she is losing them early though.

I have to get shit done around here today. Everything is completely a mess, crap all over. I can't concentrate for more than 5 minutes at a time, so wish me luck.

Thank you all for your support, it means the world to me. I wish I could meet all of you and "do lunch", maybe someday......

All for now, I want to get some shit started before Elena gets up. She's sleeping in a bit late this AM cause I let her stay up to watch the finale of Survivor. She actually wrote "Katie" on a little slip of paper and has been walking around her an immunity idol she fashioned herself. She cracks me up-

Oh Amanda, the face painting lasted about 4 hours before she asked me to wash it off. It was a "professional" job and looked great. Most of it washed off, but she did have a few sparkles for a few days that the pool, washing, etc would not remove.

Elena is the cutest ever! I love the pictures.

My DH quit smoking again a week or so ago. They say the first 72 hours are the hardest -- you're almost there! *cheers*

*hugs* hope you have a great Monday!

There will be a time where you will wonder how you could have ever stood smoking in the first place trust me!
You're doing great! Just throw yourself into cleaning or crocheting or whathaveyou to keep yourself occupied!
You're gonna make it!

Welcome Back (yeah, I'm late...) As for quitting. You CAN do it!! I managed to quit during a school year. And I was the kind of person who would not start my car after work until a cig was in my mouth ready to be lit the minute I left school grounds. It will be sooo worth it and with the price of cigs today, you can get tons of yarn. one day at a time and crochet A LOT!!!!!!!!!
