Secret Pal goodies!

I received a secret pal package today, 4 skeins of Moda Dea Sassy Stripes yarn. I will now do the Toe Up socks some time in the next few weeks. She also sent me a few jazz CD's, one of which we listened to in the car on the way to AC Moore. Yeah, I went back this week. I bought some more Homespun yarn, beads and Caron yarn to make that cocoon sweater I've been going on about for the past few days. That Crochet Guy was sweet enough to send me the pattern and a pic of the one he did with the pattern. I am in awe of his work and want to try this.

I went searching for some of the mill ends AC Moore usually has, I want the Homespun to make the afghan like 3-Olive made. They told me they weren't getting it in for a while, bummer.

They had this beautiful yarn on sale today, I don't remember the name but it was 80% mohair and looked like cotton candy. They had 5 different colors. $4.99 a ball, but I couldn't swing it this week and couldn't imagine what I could make with a few of them. Then I got home, looked at the Scarve book my SP sent a few weeks ago and found a pattern. Oh well, I already spent $120.00 on yarn in the past week, time to take a break. My husband even said, "You have a room full of yarn upstairs", I started to explain I didn't have the right yarn for the right projects, he just nodded his head. He did go with me tonight to use one of the 40% off coupons for me.

Right now he and Elena are in the LR watching a Bugs Bunny Movie. We napped today, so Elena will be up til midnight. Give the girl 1/2 nap during the day and we're doomed.

Well, back to the LR.

My hubby doesn't understand the pricing. His question is always - how much yarn for how much?
