C'Ville Hat Swap hat finally done!!

I have to tell you, I am not cut out for crocheting hats. No matter which pattern, they never turn out!! I even check gauge, etc. I suck at it!!! I made four different hats for my swap and frogged each one UPON COMPLETION!!!! The frigging yarn was so sick of being tugged and pulled, it was screaming!!

Anyway, I finally gave up and just decided to kinda do my own thing and it worked out. Now I wanna make one for me! I started using Dot's pattern for the first few rows and then just designed the rest myself. At least now, I don't feel so worthless!!

I used Wool-Ease in Rose Heather and TLC Amore in Black. It it extremely soft and stretchy. IT doesn't fit tightly like a skull cap, more like a cloche. It is perfect for big heads (like mine) and small alike.

I will get to my soldier's caps soon, but I do need a hat break for about a week!!

No, really Deneen, it's a great hat =) You are just frustrated by all the frogging so you don't see it the same way we do!

Deneen the hat is adorable. I find it much better to kinda wing it then follow patterns anyway and the poncho is adorable liove the color. Sutty Yes for now I still have internet for how long who knows.
